New murals and displays were recently installed for Meggit Defense in their new offices in Irvine California. Meggitt Defense Systems, part of the Meggitt group, provides Training Systems and Defense Systems used by militaries and law enforcement and security agencies around the world.

• The 9 ft. wide photo murals (by Clearpoints Larry McManus) show Meggitts ALE-50 decoy behind an F-18D and the M1-A1 and M1-A2 main battle tanks. (Meggitt provides the Thermal Management System and Round Identification and Location System for the M1-A2).

Larry is in the process of creating a new 9 ft. mural of the Apache attack helicopter.

• Five new 3 ft. hand carved wood custom models ( F-18, Seahawk, Apache, M1-A2 and Stryker) were also made. These are displayed on stainless steel post in special custom made display tables.

• The display table tops were mounted to 32″ x 32″ x 32″ pedestals. The 45″ x 45″ x 4″ table tops were laminated with stainless and routed around the edges so the beveled plex covers were flush with the sides

• One laser cut solid stainless steel logo was fabricated for the new office. It measures 77″ x 19″ and was cut out of .187 thick stainless.
